10/3 · Re: AE111 C160 6 speed conversion. Alot of people in America especially want to go for the 6speed gearboxes. The gear length are different between 5 and 6 speed but other then that there is no advantage. c56 boxes come out in the facelift ae101 truenos etc and the ae111 levins etc too. They are a nice reliable and strong gearbox.

It's a 4age 20v and c160 lsd gearbox. Engine had pretty even compression across the pistons probs will need a refresh at minimum as it's be

Posted January 22, 2012. Try jacking up the rear. Make sure lever is in neutral. Loosen set screw. Start motor and engage drive belt. There is a screwdriver slot in the shaft the set screw tightens against turn the shaft with a stubby screwdriver so the wheels are not moving at all and tighten the set screw.
